6.1. Ordering Process
The ordering process generally includes the following steps:
Selecting products and adding them to the shopping cart.
Reviewing the shopping cart.
Entering billing and delivery information.
Selecting an available delivery method.
Selecting an available payment method.
Reviewing the order summary and accepting these Terms.
Confirming the order with an obligation to pay.
Before confirming the purchase, the Customer may review the information entered and correct any errors.
6.2. Order Confirmation
An order confirmation is sent to the email address provided by the Customer.
This confirmation summarises the essential information relating to the purchase.
For orders paid by bank transfer, the order may remain pending until payment has been received and verified.
6.3. Refusal or Cancellation by the Seller
Liberty Shop may suspend the processing of an order in the event of non-payment, serious suspicion of fraud or a legal inability to supply the product.
Any cancellation initiated by the Seller must respect the Customer’s rights, particularly regarding refunds of amounts already paid.
If the order cannot be fulfilled, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible.
7. Payment
7.1. Accepted Payment Methods
As of the date of the latest update to these Terms, orders placed on Liberty Shop may be paid by bank transfer.
The banking details required for payment are provided during the checkout process or in the instructions sent to the Customer.
The order is processed once payment has been received and verified.
7.2. Payment Security
Liberty Shop does not directly collect complete bank card details for payments made by bank transfer.
When secure electronic payments become available on the Website, transactions will be processed by the relevant payment service provider.
The payment methods actually available will be displayed during checkout.
7.3. Non-Payment
If payment is not received, Liberty Shop may contact the Customer to inform them of the situation.
If payment is not regularised, the order may be cancelled in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
If an order is cancelled after payment has already been received, any amounts legally owed to the Customer will be refunded in accordance with applicable regulations.
8. Delivery
8.1. Delivery Areas
Liberty Shop arranges deliveries to the geographical areas offered during the checkout process.
The countries and destinations currently available are indicated on the Website.
Certain restrictions may apply depending on local regulations, the nature of the products or the carrier’s conditions.
8.2. Carrier
Orders are shipped primarily through bpost.
Depending on the destination and available options, delivery may be made to a home address or a collection point.
Available delivery options are displayed before the order is confirmed.
8.3. Delivery Charges
Delivery charges are calculated according to the conditions applicable to the order and are communicated before payment.
Certain orders may qualify for free delivery when they meet the conditions of current offers.
The conditions of these offers are specified on the Website.
8.4. Delivery Times
Delivery times depend on the destination, shipping method and product availability.
The applicable delivery times or dates are communicated to the Customer before the order is confirmed.
Unless otherwise agreed, delivery takes place within the applicable statutory period.
In the event of a delay, the Customer benefits from the rights provided by law, particularly when delivery does not take place within the agreed period.
8.5. Transfer of Risk
The risk of loss of or damage to the products passes to the consumer when they, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, take physical possession of the goods.
If the Customer independently chooses a carrier not offered by Liberty Shop, the specific legal rules governing the transfer of risk apply.
8.6. Damaged, Incomplete or Missing Parcels
If a parcel is damaged, incomplete or not received, the Customer is invited to contact Liberty Shop as soon as possible at:
To facilitate the processing of the request, Customers are advised to provide:
Their order number.
A description of the issue.
Photographs, where relevant.
Prompt notification helps facilitate checks with the carrier.
However, failure to report a problem within 48 hours does not deprive the Customer of their statutory rights.
9. Right of Withdrawal for Distance Sales
9.1. Principle of the Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Belgian legislation applicable to distance contracts, consumer Customers generally have a 14-calendar-day withdrawal period, without having to provide a reason.
This period begins on the day following the day on which the Customer, or a third party designated by them other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the product.
For orders involving several goods delivered separately, the statutory rules determining the starting date of the withdrawal period apply.
Certain categories of goods may be excluded from the right of withdrawal under the conditions laid down by law.
9.2. How to Exercise the Right of Withdrawal
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform Liberty Shop of their decision before the statutory withdrawal period expires.
The request may be sent by email to:
The Customer may provide:
Their first and last name.
Their order number.
The product or products concerned.
A clear statement of their decision to withdraw.
The Customer may also use the model withdrawal form included at the end of these Terms.
Use of this form is not mandatory.
Any unequivocal statement expressing the intention to withdraw is accepted in accordance with applicable regulations.
9.3. Returning Products
After communicating their decision to withdraw, the Customer has an additional 14 calendar days to return the relevant products.
Products must be returned to the address provided by Liberty Shop.
Unless a statutory exception applies, the Customer may examine and handle the products to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, as they would be able to do in a physical shop.
Customers are advised to return products with their accessories and in packaging that adequately protects them during transport.
The absence of the original packaging does not, in itself, constitute grounds for automatically refusing the right of withdrawal.
However, the Customer may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to examine the product, under the conditions provided by law.
9.4. Return Shipping Costs
When exercising the statutory right of withdrawal, the direct cost of returning products is borne by the Customer, unless otherwise indicated or unless a legal provision requires the Seller to bear these costs.
For defective, non-conforming or incorrectly supplied products, the rules governing statutory guarantees and the Seller’s liability take precedence.
9.5. Statutory Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to certain categories of goods expressly specified by law.
These may include:
Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons and that have been unsealed after delivery.
Other categories expressly excluded under applicable legislation.
These exceptions are interpreted in accordance with the law and do not automatically apply to all CBD products, cosmetics or consumables.
Where a product falls under an exception to the right of withdrawal, the Customer is informed in accordance with legal obligations.
10. Returns, Refunds, Exchanges and Cancellations
10.1. Returns Due to a Change of Mind
When a Customer wishes to return a product under their statutory right of withdrawal, the conditions set out in Article 9 apply.
The Customer is invited to contact Liberty Shop at:
A return cannot be refused on grounds that would unlawfully restrict a consumer’s statutory rights.
10.2. Opened or Used Products
Opening a product’s packaging does not automatically remove the right of withdrawal.
However, certain products may be excluded where they meet the conditions of a statutory exception, particularly for hygiene or health protection reasons.
For other goods, excessive use or handling may result in diminished value for which the Customer may be liable under the conditions laid down by law.
Each request is assessed according to the nature of the product and the applicable regulations.
10.3. Refund Conditions
When a Customer validly exercises their right of withdrawal, Liberty Shop refunds the payments received for the products concerned.
The refund also includes the standard delivery charges originally paid, where their reimbursement is legally required.
Additional costs resulting from the Customer’s express choice of a more expensive delivery method than the least expensive standard delivery option offered are not necessarily refunded.
Refunds are made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date on which Liberty Shop is informed of the decision to withdraw.
For sales contracts, Liberty Shop may withhold the refund until the goods have been received back or until the Customer provides evidence of having sent them back, whichever occurs first.
10.4. Refund Method
Refunds are issued using the same payment method as the original transaction, unless the Customer expressly agrees to another method, provided that no additional costs are incurred.
For purchases paid by bank transfer, the refund may be made by bank transfer to the Customer’s bank account.
Liberty Shop cannot impose store credit or a voucher instead of a refund legally owed to the Customer.
10.5. Defective or Non-Conforming Products
If a product is defective, does not conform to the order or was sent in error, the Customer should contact Liberty Shop so that the request can be processed.
Depending on the circumstances and statutory rights, repair, replacement, a price reduction or a refund may be offered.
The costs necessary to bring goods into conformity are borne in accordance with the Seller’s statutory obligations.
10.6. Exchanges
Requests for exchanges based on personal preference may be considered by Liberty Shop.
A voluntary commercial exchange depends, among other things, on product availability and the conditions communicated to the Customer.
This option does not restrict the statutory right of withdrawal or statutory guarantees.
10.7. Cancelling an Order Before Dispatch
Customers wishing to cancel an order before dispatch are invited to contact Liberty Shop as soon as possible at:
The request should preferably include the order number and the name used when purchasing.
If the order has not yet been dispatched, Liberty Shop will assess whether it can be cancelled directly.
If payment has already been received, any amounts owed will be refunded in accordance with the Customer’s rights and applicable legal provisions.
If the order has already been dispatched, the Customer retains their statutory right of withdrawal where applicable.
10.8. Cancellation Initiated by Liberty Shop
Liberty Shop may need to cancel an order for legitimate reasons, including:
Product unavailability.
Legal impossibility of selling or delivering the product.
Non-payment.
Serious suspicion of fraud.
Inability to fulfil the order.
The Customer is informed of the cancellation and the relevant reasons as soon as possible.
If payment has already been received, any amounts legally owed to the Customer will be refunded.
10.9. Refund Complaints
For any questions or complaints regarding a refund, the Customer may contact:
Customers are advised to provide their order number, the reason for their request and any information useful for processing it.
Liberty Shop examines requests in accordance with these Terms and applicable legal obligations.
11. Statutory Guarantees and Defective Products
11.1. Statutory Guarantee of Conformity
Consumers benefit from the statutory guarantees applicable to goods purchased from a professional seller.
In Belgium, the statutory guarantee of conformity generally applies for two years from the delivery of new goods, subject to the conditions laid down by law.
The nature of the product and any specific applicable statutory provisions must be taken into account.
11.2. Lack of Conformity
In the event of a lack of conformity, the Customer may exercise the rights provided by law.
Depending on the circumstances and legal conditions, these rights may include:
Repair.
Replacement.
A proportionate price reduction.
Termination of the contract and a refund.
The applicable remedies depend on the nature of the defect and the conditions laid down by law.
11.3. Reporting a Defect
To report a defective or non-conforming product, the Customer may contact:
Customers are advised to provide their order number, a description of the issue and photographs where useful.
Photographs can facilitate the assessment of the complaint but are not a general prerequisite for exercising statutory consumer rights.
Statutory guarantees apply independently of any right of withdrawal.
11.4. Costs of Bringing Goods into Conformity
Where bringing goods into conformity is legally required, this is carried out free of charge for the consumer under the conditions provided by law.
The costs necessary to bring the goods into conformity are borne by the Seller in accordance with its statutory obligations.
12. Liability
Liberty Shop undertakes to fulfil its contractual obligations in accordance with applicable regulations.
Customers are advised to follow the instructions for use and precautions stated on the products or provided by their manufacturers.
Liberty Shop’s liability cannot be excluded or limited where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
These Terms do not affect consumers’ mandatory statutory rights, particularly regarding conformity, delivery and liability.

Trademarks and distinctive signs belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.
15. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution
15.1. Applicable Law
These Terms are governed by Belgian law.
Where the Customer resides in another country, this provision does not deprive them of any mandatory protections applicable under the rules of private international law.
15.2. Complaints
In the event of a problem concerning an order, delivery, refund or use of the Website, the Customer is invited to contact Liberty Shop:

Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of mandatory protections concerning court jurisdiction.
16. Amendments to These Terms
Liberty Shop may update these Terms to reflect, in particular:
Changes in legislation and regulations.
Changes to its services.
